You can get out onto the water directly from the campsite. A sunbathing lawn with a jetty, free access to the lake and Lake Wolfgangsee right in front of you. With a stand-up paddleboard or kayak, you can explore the lake at a leisurely pace – small bays, quiet shores and new perspectives from the water. At Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee, you can hire kayaks and stand-up paddleboards directly on site.

Hiking & cycling in the Salzkammergut

Just set off. Or get on your bike and ride. Camping in the Salzkammergut combines hiking and cycling in a particularly enjoyable way. Around Lake Wolfgangsee, there are walking trails, the popular circuit around the lake, and hiking and cycling tours for different levels of ability – peaceful, close to nature and easily accessible.

Tip: You can hire bikes and e-bikes directly at the campsite and set off straight away.

Are dogs permitted at Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee?

Dogs are welcome at Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee on request. When booking, please note the choice of the appropriate pitch category, as dogs are not allowed in all areas. You can find all the details on our Camping with Dogs page.

Which mountains can be reached from our campsite in the mountains by the lake?

From Paradiescamping on Lake Wolfgang, you can reach popular destinations such as the Zwölferhorn, Falkenstein or Schafberg in no time. Depending on the route, these mountains are suitable for both leisurely hikes and more challenging tours.

Are dogs allowed on the sunbathing lawn or on the jetty?

No, dogs are not allowed on the sunbathing lawn, on the jetty or in Lake Wolfgangsee. This regulation is prescribed by the authorities and applies to this section of Lake Wolfgangsee.

However, there is a public dog beach approximately 400 metres from the campsite that you can use with your dog.
