Since the 1950s, Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee has been firmly established in the region around Lake Wolfgangsee. Founded by the Weissenbacher family, the site has been carefully developed over decades. Camping Weissenbacher and Camping Birkenstrand merged to form today's Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee. What has remained is an attitude that still characterises the site today: preserving what has proven itself and carefully developing new ideas. Since 2025, Paradiescamping has been run by Sarah Weissenbacher, the third generation of the family, together with her family and her team.
Lake Wolfgangsee and the Salzkammergut offer the perfect blend of exercise, nature and relaxation.
Paradiescamping has been synonymous with camping tradition since the 1950s. As a family-run campsite, it has been carefully developed over generations and is now managed by the third generation – with the aim of preserving what has been tried and tested and adding new features in moderation. Several generations work together with a dedicated seasonal team. This personal structure shapes the atmosphere at the site: quiet, manageable and welcoming.
We see sustainability as a natural part of our everyday life at the campsite – in our use of water, resources and regional partners.
Dogs are welcome at Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee on request. When booking, please note the choice of the appropriate pitch category, as dogs are not allowed in all areas. You can find all the details on our Camping with Dogs page.
Your reserved camping pitch will be available from 1 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-in takes place at reception.
On the day of departure, we kindly request that you vacate your pitch by 11:00 a.m.
Check-in on the day of arrival from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (the camping pitch is available from 1:00 p.m.). Late arrivals or self-check-in until 9:30 p.m. are possible on request.
