Frequently asked questions about Paradiescamping

Being well informed makes travelling more relaxed. That's why we've compiled the most frequently asked questions about Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee for you here.

Arrival & Check-in

When will the camping pitch be available on the day of arrival?

Your reserved camping pitch will be available from 1 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-in takes place at reception.

Until when is the camping pitch available on the day of departure?

On the day of departure, we kindly request that you vacate your pitch by 11:00 a.m.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in on the day of arrival from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (the camping pitch is available from 1:00 p.m.). Late arrivals or self-check-in until 9:30 p.m. are possible on request.

Check-out on the day of departure from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

When is it possible to enter and exit (barrier opening hours)?

The barrier is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please note that there is a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., during which time no vehicles may enter or exit.

What should I do if I arrive late?

Late arrivals and self-check-in are possible until 9:30 p.m. upon request.

Stay

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, for stays during the peak season (July and August), a minimum stay of 7 nights applies, and in June, a minimum stay of 5 nights applies.

Is there Wi-Fi at the campsite?

You will receive two free Wi-Fi vouchers per pitch for your entire stay. You can purchase additional vouchers at reception if required.

Is Paradiescamping a campsite with a barbecue area?

Yes, as a campsite with a barbecue area, Paradiescamping offers a central barbecue area directly on the grounds, near the main sanitary facilities. This is available for all guests to use together. 

Important: Barbecuing with charcoal is only permitted in this barbecue area.

Where can I exchange gas cylinders?

Unfortunately, due to official regulations, it is not possible to exchange gas bottles directly at the campsite. Our team will be happy to provide you with the latest information on where you can most easily exchange your bottles locally. Please note that usually only Euro gas bottles can be exchanged.

How does the sauna reservation work?

Our private sauna can be booked easily and flexibly. Depending on availability, reservations can be made directly at reception up to one hour before the desired appointment time.

Camping with your dog

Are dogs allowed on the sunbathing lawn or on the jetty?

No, dogs are not allowed on the sunbathing lawn, on the jetty or in Lake Wolfgangsee. This regulation is prescribed by the authorities and applies to this section of Lake Wolfgangsee.

However, there is a public dog beach approximately 400 metres from the campsite that you can use with your dog.

How many dogs are permitted per pitch?

Depending on the pitch category, a maximum of one or two dogs are permitted per pitch. Please check the relevant regulations before booking and note our dog-free areas.

Which areas of the campsite are dog-free?

The sunbathing lawn with bathing beach and the Strandparadies and Kaiser pitch categories are dog-free areas. There are also designated dog-free zones in the Premium and Komfort categories. These areas are clearly marked on the campsite map and on site.

Please note: Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the campsite. Please ensure that dogs do not leave their droppings on the premises. Dogs must not be left alone on the pitch.

How can I use the dog shower?

Our dog shower is available to you free of charge and can be easily activated with your shower card.
